Question Is it possible to get 12 secs out of bolt ons only

I have a 99 z-28 a4 and my 1/4 mile time is 13.76 at 101 mph. My car is bone stock and I was wondering if I could hit 12 secs with bolt-ons only. If it's possible what bolt-ons and in what order?

some bone stock cars will hit 12.99 if driven right. you should be well into the 12's with full bolt ons.

some people get into the 11's with bolt ons. Most see low 12's.

a Stall + Sticky tires should net you some 12.99's at least. Add some bolt-ons and the number only goes down...

Look at my sig. Mid 12's at full weight and I don't even have all the bolt-ons. I'm still missing the UD pulley, ls6 or better intake and gears. Adding those would very likely put me on the brink of 11's!

FYI the bolt-on record is 10.9 @ 121. But that of course was with a LOT of weight reduction, big stall and every possible bolt-on ever thought of for the LS1.

I went 13.6 bone stock and 12.9 with a lid and exhaust only. I don't have an LS6 intake or UD pulley or anyone of that stuff yet. I'll be getting some new times here soon with the 4K verter and tune. You'll get there pretty easily with the right mods.
