Default Quick 00' LS1 Question

Did the 00' LS1's come with the LS6 intake, or was that later years?

Also, I'm going to look at one probably tomorrow night. Anything I should be looking for? It's pretty much complete, with one head removed for inspection. No front accessories though.....

If they removed one head, you'll need a new head gasket and NEW BOLTS to put it back together with. The stock headbolts are junk after their first use.

Yep, I realize that. Just wondering about the intake.

I also just ran across a complete 00' Z28, hit in the front, motor won't turn over, T-top, 6 speed car. Going to look at that this weekend too..

I suppose I really just need the drive accessories off the front of the LS1 and I could use my 03' LQ9 motor. That way I could use the LS6 intake with the LQ9 heads, right?
