Every set of flowtech's I've seen were junk (LS1, SBC, 4.6l mustang etc.). Every set of Pacesetters were awesome.

I have them on both my sons ls1 camaro's. They work great...hey they are made by holley...same as hookers. Both cars are daily drivers with full length custom exhaust systems.

Yes they are crap.. they also look cheap. In my opinion...pacesetters put them to shame.

I agree. Flanges aren't thick enough so they will end up warping under extreem heat. Pacesetters are much better. Spend the few extra dollars.

I had a set I had them on and off of my car many times. I had to weld the collectors on them 3 different times in 3 different spots. Once on one and twice on the other. They are Junk allthough they do stand by thier product they gave me a set of Hooker Super comps all I did was pay the difference and I have not had a problem since.

ummmm. you're wrong. I have personally seen how crappy these headers are. I helped my best friend put them on his car which took about 7 hours to begin with then the headers didn't come with 02 extensions because they wanted you to wire your own. That was a huge mistake! 2 days later he was throwing codes left and right. Multiple cylinder misfire. $85 later that was fixed and then the exhaust leaks started because the mainfold gaskets that come with the headers are absolute crap also. After another huge headache of unbolting them to install factory GM gaskets the leak was fixed. To top it all off, they hang really low so he scrapes his car on pretty much everything. I'm just waiting on the flanges to warp due to them not being 3/8" or greater.

so basically your only gripe with the system was actually not having extensions and you actually used gaskets that came with the kit.. who does? and what kit out there supplies a great gasket with headers? nothing about your post was about the headers themselves.. other than they hang low.. SLP hang low too..

price to price, spend the extra couple bucks, and get ceramic coated pacesetters. well worth it IMO. i had a fun time with FLowtechs on my 90 firebird. and after that, i said to myself. Ill never own a set of flowtechs ever again. fit like ****, had the 02 bung optoin on them, it was welded on, but yet i still had to drill out the hole? wtf, warped under too much heat, just were junk
