Default Thinking of getting new mufflers for my duals

I just put on my LT's and 3" duals(x-pipe) with dynomax bullets. Its dumped at the rear axle. I'm not sure if i like the way it sounds and i'm thinking about extending out the back under the axle and swapping mufflers.

The mufflers i'm thinking about is the one chambers and magnaflow bullets. Can you guys suggest any other mufflers?

I would also like to hear sound clips.

TIA

No i dont think its too loud. I'm just not sure if i like the exhaust tone very much.

But i dont think your neighbors will like it very much when you come home. You better idle through the neighborhood.

i will try to get a sound clip posted up

hey man.. whats going on... Hey I was thinking about swaping out my Dynomax bullet for the Sweet thunders.. i cant seem to find a sound clip of the single system on LS1sounds.. but in your case there are some clips of the duals with Sweet Thunders on there (sweet thunders are the chambered mufflers you are talking about) take a listen to em. i know its not the same as being in person but it might give you an idea..

i personally think the bullets are droney while cruising and raspy or blaaaat sounding from about 2100-2800rpms.. which i cant stand..

whats up man.....The Black SS that was at the meet has duals with sweet thunders. He revved before you came. It sounds very good and i am also considering those. Maybe you can switch yours out for a sweet thunder.

I am running true duals with 2 18" sweetthunders dumped at the rear. They sound really good, and I would not change them for any other exhaust.

powersticks are like the sweet thunders, except they are 3 inch all the way through. The inside of the sweet thunders aren't, they shrink down a little bit. Tim@Eadperformance has all the info on them if you want to know more...

I was thinking about that. Is it possible to make the sweet thunders work with my 3" duals because they are 2.5"?

I would like to hear the powersticks.

Powersticks are raspy and drony....so if that is your issue then you are better served with another muffler....

sweet thunders are 3 inch inlets, the inside is 2.5, they will fit on the TSP kit...on Tim@EADPerformance's profile, there a a few sound clips...I don't tink they sound raspy or drony at all, even in person...I thought they resembled the sweet thnder sound, just a little louder...I don't doubt ur opinion 1 SIC Z because i see that you own them as well, but i guess its just a matter of preference or how certain sounds catch people's ears...BTW, nice rims SIC...

Oh ok i understand now. I'm in the process of checking out the powersticks.

How much does the smaller diameter inside the sweet thunders effect flow?
