set me up with a new exhaust
Mods are:
comp cam, ls6 P&P heads, hooker LTs, and right now I'm running a LM1.
but it's just a little too raspy for me.
I love the sound of the GMMG over any other. I also like open headers & a cutout. for some reason I really don't want to run true duals.
an electric cutout, catted y pipe, and the gmmg sound good with my setup?
what about getting rid of the LM and getting a powerpack muff?
I want it to be really deep at idle, loud at WOT and no rasp at all. "MEAN."
another thing in mind, I'm going to lower my car somewhat around 1.5"
I'm going for this kind of sound at WOT...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3EoFElEN3o
and the WS6 at the top of the page for idle...

help me out here

You can try putting in a powerpack or powerstick muffler in the i-pipe. It should change the sound to get closer to what you want. You may want to pm Tim @ EAD Performance . He has a y-pipe setup with 3 powerpack mufflers and it sounds damn good. There are some video clips in his sig too.
I have cats in my y-pipe with GMMG right now and it sounds amazing. I'm always getting compliments on it. There is no rasp with the cats either. I'm switching soon to 3" lanes true duals with 2 powerpack mufflers.
A catted y-pipe with LM1 will not sound nearly as good as it would with GMMG or powerstick/pack mufflers IMHO
In other words, you should buy my GMMG when I take it off soon! lol
Good luck with whichever direction you choose!

not a fan of duals.
I'm thinking between two options:
1) keep my LM1, add a catted y pipe & get dual electric cutouts after the headers
2) buy the GMMG, catted y, & dual electric cutouts
I just don't know what setup with the GMMG will sound the best with my mods
