Default quick header question

well my SES light came on this weekend....bad O2 sensor, meaning bad cats (factory), so now i'm going ahead with my header install.

it's on a 2000 SS, i've got Grotty headers, and was wondering what O2 extensions to run...? do i need a 12" and 24", 2 12", or 2 24"?

i've got gaskets and EGR plug on the way. already have block-offs for the headers and 2 O2 Sims as well as 1 12" extension, but i need to know what/how many other extensions to get.

...i'd go look for my self, but the headers aren't on yet and there's like a foot of ice all around my car...

that's what i figured, the bung is pretty close to the collector flange and they ARE LT's....so....looks like i'll go with 2 24"s

thanks

if the bung is on the inside of the passenger side LT you can probably get away with a 12" but otherwise your more than likely gonna need a 24" for the driver side

Get the 2 24"s you will always be able to take up the slack and zip tie it if not needed.

I used a 12" and a 24" before I got Bosch 13111 O2's, worked great. One side fit perfect, and one side was still too long, had to put a loop in it and use a zip-tie.
