Default cut out on stocker

going to have it welded in , wondering were is the best place for
it to be, sound wise. and will it be loud enough to cut the noise of
ricers fart cans. or ill have to buy two HUH !! thanks

Put it in the i-pipe right before the rear end.

And yes with stock manifolds and cats, it will sound pretty good. And will be way louder and sound way better than any rice ball coffee can around!

yeah, even with the LM on my car i had a cut-out welded in place of the resonator until i got in an accident and had a new LM put on. But thier is a perfect spot for it in the I-Pipe almost under the passenger, u will see it when the car is lifted up, thiers an indent in the floor boards like it was ment for a cut-out to tuck up nicely! Oh and on stock manifolds a cut-out sounds awesome, and just as good if not better than a cat-back! U will also gain some good power going from stock exhaust to wide open!

Is 3 Inch Correct On That Cut Out For A 02 Z28, I Hope , I Think The Pipe Back There Is 2.75 Right Before The Muff. I Put A Hi Flower Muff On Just Aint Enough..

On my 95 I had it right about under the rear passenger side seat. Fairly easy to get to, worked well for me.

i got a H/C car with LT's, TSP Catted Y, with a Cut-out in the I-pipe of my catback....with the cutout open it seems to give my car that "mustang" sound (or so i have been told by ALOT of people)
