Default AC Delco Iridium Plug Gap?!?!?!

I ordered some AC Delco Iridium spark plugs, and I was wondering what the gap should be. I have searched and found some answers, but the people weren't SURE of them. I know there was a Delco statement that read that the gap shouldn't be changed.....is this true?

I believe they came out of the box at .050.........

Also, does anyone have some experience with these plugs?? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

-James

They're preset to .040 and are not recommended to be changed.

You could damage the iridium plugs by trying to gap them. Make sure none are jacked up, and throw them in.

What is the part# for the .050 gapped ones? Or are they the 41-985 that are .040?

After some research I have found that they are pre-gapped at .040
