Vic. Jr question
A while back I saw someone running the Vic. Jr intake with a throttle body, therefore keeping Fuel injection. Thing is, i thought these intake were only for carbed setups. Is it a different part#, or do you just put a tb on instead of a carb? also, what is the cost of one of these intakes, and how do they perform compared to both the LS6 and the FAST? Thanks for the help!

here you go, this is a start... and a search in here and in the FI section should answer most of your questions!

Now for a bit of a contradiction...Im running a LS6 intake on my FI setup even though a carb style intake is supposed to give you better flow characteristics in a FI setup.

I sold my LS6 intake, and Im going with the Victor Jr w/ a FAST 4bbl TB. My car is FI, so I think it will flow better to all the cylinders. Plus it will look right at home in my Chevelle.

"low end" should never be a reason for not getting a single plane intake. 1. if your car is an auto, your 4000+ stall is going to completely eliminate "low end" 2. if you have a manual, you are going to be doing clutch dumps anyways, so no need to even account for it either. 3. i was told of a guy who lost 10rwt becuase of a single plane intake, but gained 20rwhp. well worth the trade off IMO expecialy for a cheaper intake.

I would agree with this as long as you race the care occasionally...on the street you will notice the loss of low end torque though...
However, still not enough to sway me away from a carb style intake!
