Default LS1 w/ the Mustang Sound - FINALLY!!!

Ok, so I absolutely love my Camaro, in fact there is virtually nothing about a Mustang that I consider appealing. Well, almost nothing. Truth be told, ever since My wife and I bought our first Camaro back in '95 we've always been a little envious of that "mustang sound." Well, we finally got the best of both worlds, and after more then ten years of research and a little more then $6000 invested, I finally got the sound I was looking for and still kept my LS1 under the hood. It was a lot of work, but I think it paid off.

Near as I can tell this is the ONLY method that really gets that distinctinve sound. Here's a video of the exhaust note and at the end you'll find the parts required and the installation method.

I can't see the vid right now b/c I'm at work and the connection is super slow You mentioned having a camaro back in '95 but I think the LT1 sounds great compared to the mustang sound. I would also rather have my cam/LT's/ORY/open cutout at WOT sound over a mustang any day of the week. I just wished it sounded better during normal cruising.

I think when you get a chance to see the vid, all will become clear. Don't worry I got nothin but love for the sound of a good ole fasioned push rod with a lopey cam.

sound is all about your personal preference. i prefer the sound of a healthy big block chevy. but then again im all about performance, im glad you found what you where looking for. it didnt really sound like a mustang, maybe it was just the internet. im not trying to burst your b_ _ _ _ either. its how it sounded to me.

What is that aweful gurgling you hear after you rev it? Is it the mustang engine's way to tell you don't rev me so hard I'm a wimp?
