Default AIR removal ?'s

OK so I'm going to pull the AIR system off my car and have a couple of questions.

1. Do I have to do any thing besides install block off plate and plug the vac port on that round black thing on the drivers side between the intake manifold and break booster?

2 Will leaving the pump installed and running, not pulling the fuse, do any harm till I can get the codes pulled when I do my tune?

3. Are there any other connections that I need to know about before pulling the tubes?

4. Is there any thing else that I need to know about removing the system?

Thanks for any help

You can take it all off. There is a flap under the car in the front where that long rubber hose goes to, you can just pull all of that out. Save a few pounds, and it looks a lot cleaner in the engine bay with out that hose.
