Default Torque Specs on headers bolts?

ok i'm installing a set of QTP lts, and i read in the service manual that it's a two step torque process. First it says 132 in lbs, and then 18. I'm assuming the 18 is for 18 ft lbs. If this is correct can someone translate 132in lbs to ft lbs?

Don't go crazy. First snug them all up. Then, I think the book calls for two passes, starting with the center bolts and working your way out. The first pass to 11 lb/ft, and the second pass to 18 lb/ft. (That's not all that much!)

That being said, I just get them nice-n-tight using a 1/4" drive or a 10mm speed wrench. (cuz I don't own a tiny torque wrench.)

Be careful starting the threads, it's easy to cross-thread these if you aren't careful.

Good luck!

just tight. but don't forget as you drive around and the metal heats and cools off, it will expand and shrink, so always check the bolts to see if they've loosened up. i tightened mine real good and never had to worry about it.

dont go more than 18 lbs, and check them a week later to retighten.

remember the block is aluminum and you can easily strip the threads.
