battery relocation ?

Question battery relocation ?

now i relocated my battery to the back of my car but my alt. doesnt seem like its keepin my battery charged do i need a better alt its still the stock alt and i have a optima battery please help the battery is reading at 10 or 11 amps when car is running the battery is to much to let goto waste

I've had mine back there a year, and daily drove it until recently.

Are you sure that you're getting a good ground? And like staringback05 said, what gauge wire are you running?

Mine is a Taylor 2ga, I'm running a stock alternator, and I get between 13.5 and 14 volts when the car is running, with an Optima red top in the back.

i have 1 g and im sure i have a good ground i just put it in last week so i havent gotten to take it out cause the snow but i do start it up and i noticed that it was at 10 or 11 does any1 have any pics

You know, that alternator will charge better under load.
