I've been interested in the SSRA but.... while in most threads I've read people say it's good, almost no one seems to have one. Why is that?

I have one, but the bottom got yanked off because I can't drive a bean up a goats ***. I've still got the top part on though!

It's a good mod, probably on the same level as a pulley I'd say, but the results aren't as definitive.

Not many people are willing myself included to dump this kinda cash into something that isn't proven like a lid headers etc.
Me I'd not bother running it, that 200 could get me a used n20 kit sway bar etc.

i just bought one with the new plastic, seems like a quality piece. getting those body clips off of the bumper though for the install was a pita. its supposedly a dyno proven mod and for 188 shipped aint a bad deal. ive been thinking of cutting it even with my bumper that way it wont yank off if i scrape it. i had to relocate my tranny cooler too so take that into consideration if you have a cooler. anyway for all those who are skeptical im going to the track this friday with this being my most recent mod, ill chime in after the race to let you know the results w a video.

ill chime in this friday with a video and let you know how it worked for me at the track, where it matters.

I almost bought one when I ordered my lid, but for the price it just didn't seem worth it. I talked to a few people who had them, some said they felt a difference, some said they didn't feel anything at all. Just didn't seem worth the money to me. If it could be dyno proven, my mind might change, but I still doubt I'd consider buying one.

i'd give it more credit at the track than on the dyno. i highly doubt it is possible to see a gain on the dyno, all you are doing is re-routing the intake, not making it flow better while standing still...the hp gain would be higher the faster you go, but most likely nothing at a standstill...
