how do people get away with it then? everyone keeps telling me i should remove it. im thinking about buying a ls6 intake from SLP, and they sell one with or one without provisions. the one w/o is quite a bit cheaper so how easy is it to get by?

I used to live in VA and they did inspections there. I just had to pay for the inspection and the guy gave me my sticker. It wasnt the same car but the car would not have passed inspection because of not having cats. If you know someone at a place that does inspections then you could just ask. If not then your gonna have to keep it on there.

Before you remove it, ask around at local shops to see if they'll pass you, if nothing, you're keeping it. Look for sketchy shops in the middle of nowhere, throw the guy $10

It Must Be In Your Tune The Newer Cars Dont Have It And They Are Tuned Differently Because There Is No Egr. Maybe A Tuner Could Try A Different Tune And You Might Pass?

I've been told you can pass without EGR or AIR as long as you have to codes tuned out. It does depend on the shop though, if they look for it and its not there you fail. Best bet is to go on the TX forum and find someone who knows a good shop in your area to get inspected at.
