Default Help with TSP duals install!!

Need some help here guys. ive been messing with this stupid exhaust for like 3 hours, and it definetly IS lined up correctly. But i have NO clue where the hell to connect the hangers for the mufflers. Do i have to drill holes or what? im completely lost here, as there is nothing connect them to.

Yes, you must either drill holes through your floorboard or weld them on.

well they sound amazing. i also installed my pacesetter LT's today. unfortunatly i didnt have a power drill with me today to mount the hangers, so i had to pull the mufflers back off, but i fired her up before doing so. All i can say is WOW. i used the bullet mufflers and am thinking its going to be TOO loud. but i have a cam, so with a stock car i bet they would be perfect. i think im going to talk to TSP and see if i can do some kind of exchange on the mufflers before i mount them, because im going to get into to much trouble with this.

also the ground clearence sucks! hopefully i can tuck it up some more once i get the mufflers mounted. Looks like i might have to sell the lowering springs that have been sitting in my basement for 2 months. But god did i feel i difference ragging on it with the LT's and open x-pipe compared to the mac mids and borla. It pulls SOOOOOOO much harder up top, kinda scared me when i hit it from a roll in 3rd, i wasnt expecting THAT much difference. All in all im glad i made the swap.

i drilled mine and dont have that problem.. outside is where i can smell it.. but i had that smell with my cutout to.. comes with the territory of not having cats.. and not as restrictive exhaust...

I attempted to install my TSP TD's yesterday and I was having a hell of a time getting it to line up. It started raining and my garage is too small to work on the car in there so I gave up. Hopefully tomorrow will be dry so I can go back at it.

if your working on the floor its freaking hard to get them lined up...its so much easier with a lift... i was struggling for hours aswell...and finnaly found a shop that would put them on.. they ligned them up in like 2 min.. i felt like an idiot..

Work your *** off and they will fit nice. When you get ready to drill the holes for the hangers, put a board under the dumps, then jack them up as high as posible. If anything starts to hit anything, beat the **** out of it until it doesn't. Then let down, drill holes, jack back up, and mount.

Make sure you flip the fuel line brackets in the tunnel and move the lines for more clearance. I had to bash in the front top of the driver side bullet so it wouldn't hit the floorboard. Gave the floor a few whacks too, but only 'cause I was pissed.

Came out pretty good though, this is with the rear of the car lowered 1"...

I put mine on and the hardest part was getting the old exhaust off. Mine hand a little low, I probably have 4 or 5 inches to the bottom of the tips. I had it on a lift so that helped. The bad thing is that the lift I used was no the drive on ramp so I had the tips up as far as they would go (the x pipe was hitting the torque arm), but once the car was on the ground the bitches dropped. I'd rather not lift them any more, because once it goes back on the lift then the rear suspension will be hanging on my exhaust and the four bolts. Oh by the way, I just used the old 1/2 bolts that were holding my old exhaust hangers, the ones with the point. I just drilled a small hole and let it cut the rest. The exhaust sounds delicious, I wonder how many tickets I'm goin to get for this sound.
