Default Paper Gaskets??

Just wondering how many people are using paper gaskets and havent had any leaks yet. I was stupid enough to put some on instead of the stock metal ones. Should i go change it before i even finish putting on my td's or could this work?

If you can, replace them with the GM layered gaskets. I had my pass side header gasket blow (half of the back port all the way back to the bolt) out and I had a REALLY bad exhaust leak to say the least... god how I wish I would've went with GM layered in the first place... the driver's side is already starting to fall apart

don't waste your time with the paper ones man. I went through 2 sets(they sent them to me for free) before i finally forked out the money and bought stock replacements. They have been fine ever since.

I soaked mine in water for 30 mins. before I put them on. Its supposed to bond better. Seems like having old hot rodders in the family is payin off.
