Default o2 sensor question

I finally got my Pacesetter Headers in today and was just wondering if i'm gonna need 02 sensor extensions and if so, how many and how long do i need em to be? WS6 Store has extensions but they are for the LS1 not my LT1. Also, I got the headers with egr...now that i have em I've been thinking about just getting rid of the cats when i have the shop put em on. If i get rid of the cats, I won't need the extensions right? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I cut the wires and extended them myself. Just be sure to use solder or a good crimped connection to ensure the signal is not degraded at all.
