Default Pacesetter ??

Hey guys how hard is it to do a pacestter LT header with a catted Y install yourself does anyone have a good write up with pics on this.Thanks guys

it's not difficult at all. they slide right up and fit great. ls1howto.com will have what you need.

its no worse than other headers. i had to cut the tab off the block on the drivers side. just make sure the car is up high enough and they will pretty much slide right in. i didnt do a catted y so i cant comment on that.

I did mine in less than an hour headers and catted Y in my driveway. Very easy Pacesetters slid right in. But i had me and my bro..

Pacesetters took me some time (I am a slow worker), but no problems. I did not have to cut the tab off the block at all. Some say to disconnect the steering, but if you turn the wheels there is plenty of room. Just wiggle it around and the slide in. I had ory but I am sure there is not much difference (if the Y pipe is made to fit these headers). You will enjoy the outcome.

I went there and they only have the C5 header install no f-bodies is it there?

Also, A local performance shop will install them for you for $200-$300, depending on who it is.
Make sure to get 'Locking Header Bolts' and a better gasket then the crappy one Pacesetter gives you. Cometic gaskets seem to be popular on here.

I did the pacesetters and TSP Catted Y Pipe in my garage. Just do alot of searching on here.
