Is the exciter wire hooked up? It's a tiny little wire that plugs into the alternator via weatherpack connector.

Do you have the alternator lug from the LS1 wiring harness hooked up? I have a custom harness from TPIS, I have two wires on the alt. bolt. Just a thought.

I found out how important it was after accidentally knocking it out while putting my headers in. I made a mental note to put it back in but I was too excited to test out my headers. 30 miles later i was stranded at a gas station. I bought some razor blades and a screw driver from the gas station and mcgeyver'd that **** back in, then got a jump from someone.
