Default Removing the EGR help

Hey everyone I have a 99 ls1 which was cursed with the whole egr emissions crap and I recently installed a polished Weiand intake and I would like to use the block off plate and remove the egr since my new tune already overides it I have all the stuff the intake plug block off plate and the cover to block off the flange where the exhaust goes but my question is what about the wires that connect into the egr any help on this would be appreciated

Just zip tie it off somewhere to keep it out of the way?

That's what I did. I'm about to cut the plug off, tape the ends up, then stuff them inside the wire loom though. Loose plugs/tape/labels drive me insane in tha membrane.
