Default OBX Headers

Guys, I'm up skid row on this one. I installed the OBX headers and they have no donut gaskets. I emailed the vendor and they have no customer service and OBX isn't a website. No auto parts store or muffler shop has any that large 3" or 3.5", I can't remeber. If anybody knows where i can get either of them, I will be forever in your debt. If you buy the ones on ebay, look closely at the picture for the 01-02 ones, the have no donuts, you will be like me

walker 31556 is the gasket you need. check a few local parts stores. i'm sure one of them can order them for you. if you absolutely cannot find them for some reason, pm me because i can get them here.

also, the bolts and nuts you need for the flanges are 5/16-18 x 2 inches. recommend getting stainless ones....since the rest is stainless and all. they're available at any hardware store.

they sell donuts at shipleys, if your'e talking about your HEADER gaskets you can reuse your stockers, those were the only gaskets I used/needed when I put my pacesetter lt's on my '01 formula....?

Default Obx

For some reason the guy on ebay offers the donuts with the 98 -00 kit just not the 01-02 kits not sure why? How ever if you email obx at the sales department the will email you back with a # . I talk to them and there website is way out dated and they dont even list these headers on there yet!

If its a standard 3" collector flange, you can get that gasket anywhere. I have bought paper ones and copper ones off the shelf at Oreillys many times

Other than the missing gasket... what is your overall impression of these headers. Do they fit well? How do they sound with the resonators after the collector.

OK, where we go. I put these in during a head swap and i had to remove the drivers side one to put the head back on and then jack the motor on that side. after that was done, the Y pipe was in sections with no instrutions in the box. Its like a jigsaw puzzle. The headers are perfect fitment, the Y sucks, it bangs under the car and hits the tranny bracket but not a lot, i think i can fix that. the 01-02 ones come without the donuts or any bolts so be carefull if you order. ohh yeah, they say no o2 extensions are needed, but thats a lie too, they weren't even close so i had to get extensions. I'll post pics this weekend.

I had painted pacesetters before and the egr pipe looking thing on the passenger side broke off at the weld after 2 years. Was not happy with that, but that's just me. these are much sturdier, but i think i'm gonna buy kooks or look into dynatech next time if these don't work out.

This thread makes me feel old with people not knowing what donut gaskets are. Makes me wonder if anyone would know what points are.
