I just used some rubber caps I had laying around. I think O'Reilly's or an auto parts store carries the little assortment box of them. Also, since I've done this, the car seems to warm up ALOT faster. In a matter of minutes it's warm, use to take forever. It never gets hot, but just up to operating temp faster. Might should have looped them together. But I like being able to drive it sooner.....lol Maybe someone who knows more will chime in. Thanks.

Look in the "HELP" section at Orileys. They have little U bends that you bypass a leaky heater core with, I'd use that.
