Default after header miss -- 02 sensor?

wll i installed my headers, and took it for a drive today, even though now i wish i hadnt(got stuck in 1/2 inch of slush geting out of the driveway), and it had a really bad miss under load. I was thinking that it was the o2 sensors being bad, because of the ceramic coating. would this be the reason why it has such a bad miss. Im sure its not the spark plugs because the headers didnt even touch them when they went in, they just slipped in so easily. if its the 02 sensors, i will jsut put my other 2 in from the stock setup. any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you--Jarett

Change the spark plugs, Even if you dont think that is the problem. I had the same problem, changed plugs and wires and no more miss. I had to change the plugs twice before I got some good ones(broken insulator).

No codes yet? First thing I'd suspect is a bad plug or plug wire arcing on the header somewhere. Also check to be sure you didn't burn an 02 sensor wire on the header - check the ENG SEN fuse.

I agree change the plugs. It doesnt take much to crack one. Also make sure you hear/feel the 'click' when putting the wires back on. I was obsessive with that when I put my MSD's on. I thought a coupe were seated and they weren't.

thanks for the reply everyone, now that i think of it it might very well be the wires. Its always a pain in the *** to get them on, and i am never completely sure if they are on or not, ill give it another try tomorow. thank you

Jarett
