Default Exhaust question

I currently have FLP 1 3/4' long tubes with the removable cats. I only put the cats on around inspection time but want more performance at the track. Do yall think I should upgrade to Kooks 1 7/8" or should I make a new pipe replacement that has a cutout on both sides in place of the cats? It will only be on when I am at the track obviously but do yall think the cutout will be to close to the headers/ maybe backpressure problems??

Keep the flp's and get one cut out under the rear seat. Not enough gains to make it worth it.

I was thinking up front because I dont want to cut into my Corsa. I just need to know if that will be to far forward.

It will bog like a dump truck unless you are leaving the line at 4500 rpms. I have the same headers, and used to run a twin cut out up front. It was slower. You have a 408....I would go for the 1 7/8's honestly.

Keep the FLPs because I think from my personal experence that the cars need a little restriction unless I was force inducted (supercharger, turbo) to much flow will hurt you I think. Like Orangeapeel said it wont gain anything and more than likely will hurt you and your wallet. LOL
