Kook's Header Issue. Search Did Not Help
My Kooks 1 7/8 fit with no problem but I noticed the passenger side just touches the subframe. I will need to remove and notch I guess. Will a dremel work for this? How much clearance do you need to have so that when the motor moves side to side it will not hit? Any advice would help greatly. Thanks guys.

I had to grind the crap out of mine, but it fits with PLENTY of room. You're going to be down there for a month if you're using a dremel. I was using a 4" angle grinder, and just worked the crap out of it all at one time. I didn't want to have to go at it again after I test fitted it. Here's a pic....

You will have to unbolt the pedestals from the k-member, and jack the motor up to get the driver side in. Put that one in first, get it bolted back down, then worry about the passenger side.

You should not have to grind anything. You paid alot of money for those headers and they should fit like a glove. Call kooks they should replace them.
