Damn. I got the shitty U shaped clamps from TSP with my header/ORY purchase. I'm using the band clamps.

i got 4 of the u-bolts and 2 of these band clamps, if i can't find the parts somewere i'll just put 2 u-bolts on each one with some aluminum tape
EDIT: i think they kinda just throw whatever they want in the header/y-pipe packages, i hear some people get copper gaskets, some get paper, i got clamps and u-bolts, you just got u-bolts

i got some at advanced auto, if they have one in your area. They were not on the shelf had to show the clerk what i needed. They even brought me a 4in. and i only paid like $18 or $9 each for 3in. They work a lot better than band between the header and y-pipe.

Here's what you need - not the thinwall clamp you have pictured. Also, the one you have in the pic. is for butt-joint connections, not lap-joints. The mfg. of these clamps is Torca - they are made right here in Auburn Hills, MI. Here's their website: www.torcausa.com. Click on AccuSeal - those are the ones you want - BEEFY band construction. Then go into Google & type in "Accuseal clamp" - you'll find me. I'm an authorized dealer. Don't bother contacting Torca, they don't sell direct. They'll direct you to me. The automotive aftermarket has not caught onto AccuSeals yet because they don't care about what the customer wants.

The BEST band clamp to use in place of a U-clamp is the AccuSeal, due to the thickness of the band material & resultant clamping load. Look under your new car or truck - chances are you'll see AccuSeals on the exhaust system. Last time I looked, Walker/Dynomax only carry 2 AccuSeal part #'s - a 4" & a 5" aluminized version.
