Default SLP or Z06 Mass Air Flow

so im just gonna start doing some lil things here and there, im gonna order the smooth bellows for the car, then i was thinking why not just a new maf so should i go with teh SLP one or do the Z06 conversion??? what u guys think..

Stock maf should be fine for quite a bit of power, i'd say save the money for something else

none of the above. stock MAF is good till 500hp if you wanna do something to it that bad, port the ends of it and put your money elsewhere

MAF ends are fine, I lost 2/10 in quarter mile with SLP MAF a few years ago, and have not purchased from them since, I even sent back for 01 - 02 update still lost 15 hp.....JUNK.

If you must mess with, go get a junkyard MAF and pop the
"screen" out of the front and swap it onto your known-good
stocker. That way you have the option of going back, you
spend much less money and have a reasonable chance of
improvement.

You wish you flowed enough air, that the tube diameter
matters. Speaking of which, save your money on the smooth
bellows too.

The only intake side mods you need, until you get to heads
and cam upgraded, is a good enough lid, one less screen
and as cool as possible an intake air path. Notice there is
no goopey gauze filter in this short list and anything else
missing, you likewise will not benefit from (not in proportion
to dollar spent anyway).

Beware the free mod. It's something like the elusive free
lunch.
