Default air lid help

I bought an air lid for my 98z and the guy told me that it dosnt have the hole for the sensor on it and said i could just cut it into it to put the sensor in. Does the hole have to be a specific size? What would be the best tool to cut the hole?

make it a little tighter than the sensor or it's going to be too loose! I'll try to check exact size and let you know!

Just pull the sensor and rubber bushing out of the sock one and drill the same size hole on the new one, try to drill it in the same spot too.
