Default AC Question.

I Never use my AC. And I would like to just rip it out, and get rid of the 50 or so pounds, But I was wondering since taking the compressor out, Do I have to buy an Idler pully? Were would I buy one at? Or would I just buy a shorter belt? And what all else does it consist of on doing this?

Just take it all out and be done with it. Nothing else needed.

What about the clutch assembly on the Compressor, Do I need to just buy a shorter belt since it won't be running to that anymore?

Thanks for the quick respons

The compressor comes with its own belt, pulley and tensioner. You can just rip it all out without any repercussions.

Yeah I just cut the belt for the AC and tore the rest out. I do remember a couple of the bolts being a pretty big pain in the *** to get to...but the rest was no big deal.
