Default is it bad to run with a bad o2 sensor?

well of course it isnt good but on my way home today for about an 200 mile drive my i threw a code for one of my o2 sensors the 1357? i think? dont remember exactly but it was primary o2 left bank hot circuit or something like that...anyways my car would run like absolute **** with no power and i had to drive like this all the way home....it was on and off and it was snowing horribly so im thinking an electrical short? but my question is what damage could i have made by driving my car like this?

Yeah switch out the o2's. Mine did the same **** a while back, it would throw a code every so often.

Just go with the Bosch sensors.

If your sensor is jacked up the car will run in open loop, which will hurt gas mileage.
