Default ls1 BLOCK = lq4/9; HELP!

Do the front, back and valley covers of a LS1 block fits exactly on a LQ4 or LQ9 block? What about the sensors, them are in the same place (ls1 and LQ series)? I'm thinking about the wiring length and other changes required to make a change from 5.7 to 6.0L. Other differences and things to pay attention? Thanks for your help.

I swapped from an LS1 to an LQ4. Everything fits on both engines, you may need to drill out the driver's side boss for the alt on the iron engine (if desired, I did). Be sure to swap all of your LS1 accessories to the LQ4/9 engine, including the oil pan, windage tray, oil pump pick up, flywheel/flexplate and crank pulley.

Everything should be a direct swap. All the sensors and everything are in the same place.
