Default Headers in Chicago

Will coated headers such as Pacesetter hold up to Chicagoland weather concerning rust? Of course we all know Stainless is better but the cost is higher.

Is the car a DD or just a weekend warrior? this will pretty much determine how they'll hold up...

I'd say you'd have minimal problems then, especially coated

Okay, thanks.Just did the LS6 intake last week and now thinking about headers. The only reasonable stainless LT's I see are non sponsors and shall remian nameless. If coated will give more than a couple of years of service, I may do that.

you should be fine.. i live around chicago and drive mine daily... and so i'm keeping stock exhaust manifolds for the time being, but as a weekend warrior, you should certianlly get at least two years out of a coated set.
