Fast intake swap question

Fast intake swap question When going from a LS1 intake to a Fast, do you have to remove the coolant lines under the LS1 intake and buy the updated ones(LS6 style) that run on the outside of the intake?

Ya you need to buy the bypass ones and the plugs in order to install the intake. Also, dont forget the new button head valley cover bolts. Just do a search, theres all kinds of info on this.

Have installed 2 FAST 90 on a 2000 SS and on my 98 C5, without changing the coolant lines and all is fine. I did have to change the valley cover bolts though.

If you know someone that is good at welding you can save some money and make your own LS6 style tubes. Just leave a little nipple for the back plugs, then right where it y's in the front cut and weld. You just have to make sure it is welded properly, so it dosent leak, I have been running mine like that for awhile with no probs.
