Pacesetter dyno #'s low
Okay, don't have any before numbers. But I did run 3 runs on a dynojet chassis dyno this weekend mainly to check the fueling on a wide band. But the numbers were a bit dissappointing I thought. I made 305 hp and 308 ft/lbs pulling in 3rd with the convertor unlocked. Mods are in sig.
The air/fuel graph was really flat and hovered around the 13.5-13.6 range. I'm going to post the dyno and fuel graphs so you guys can see what's up.
Maybe the dyno was reading low? An 04 mustang GT 5 speed got up after me and only laid down 208 rwhp. My old 00 GT 5 speed laid down 245 rwhp with only exhaust mods.

You're running lean and the PCM may be pulling timing in response to the knock sensors detecting some detonation. I'd be willing to bet if you bettered your AFR down to something in the 12.5~12.9 range, you'd pick up another 10hp. Aside from that, you should do a run with the converter locked if you want to compare your numbers to an M6. Do both of those and you should see something in the 320rwhp range.

Typically you can't lock the converter except with HPTUners (or other software).
But you don't want to dyno locked, because you don't run like that on the street.
It does however give you a better representation of bhp.

Yeah, I figured the unlocked convertor was costing me some dyno power but didn't have anyway to lock the convertor since I was running the car at a Fun Ford event You should've seen the look on that mustang owners face after he pulled 208 then watched me make 305 through and auto!!
I've got Bryan at PCMforless making me a new tune with a 1/2 point of fuel added as we speak.

You know, I have heard it ping before a couple of times. You may be on to something here. It pings cause it's lean, and pulls timing causing my low dynos. Hmmmmm.........let me get on the phone with Bryan at PCMforless.

The peak torque just seemed really low to me. Don't get me wrong, the car feels much stronger with the longtubes on. Last time at the track I ran a 13.1@105 with stock manifolds and Y-pipe with a 1.9 60' and about 1200 DA. The car feels much stronger now though. I'll get some new times at the same track this Friday and we'll see whats up.
Bryan is going to add some fuel to it for me, and I'm waiting for my dyno graph from Dynojet (their printer was broke) in my E-mail.
I've heard it said before "dyno numbers mean nothing........what does it run at the track?"
We shall see.
