I need a new mass air flow sensor what to do??? search won't work
Looks like I need to get a new maf sensor. It has been constantly throwing a p0101 code and I am about to put a dry shot on the car.......don't want to take any chances on it messing up.
My question is where is the best place to get a factory replacement. Also would I benifit from getting a factory 85 mm. Where would be the best place to get both and which would be the best for me to get. If it is an 85mm I would need to get the wire connection to hook it to my car and also the thing to fit a factory size lid.
Help me out
thank you

Search didn't work for me either. I remember someone saying you can carefully clean the MAF if you get air filter oil on it. Maybe he used brake cleaner or something else that evaporates quickly.

I don't want to take any chances on the one that I have. Wouldn't want to blow my motor just because I didn't want to spend 120 on a new maf. I have also heard that it could just be tuning issues, but I will play around with it when I am not going to be spraying the dry shot on it.

what is the p0101 code. sorry my car has been down for two weeks. i think that is the one i get all the tim maf out of performance range.
it is most likely from the cam. my car only throws it at idle. i just delete it and go.
should be fixed with a dyno tune i hope. not sure if i am right just throwing it out there.
