Default Idea for a new part...

So a few of us have seen polycarbonate dif covers...they're clear! Imagine how cool a clear polycarbonate intake manifold would be right next to some clear (but oily) valve covers. If I'm not mistaken, polycarbonate is comparable to steel in its strength. Combined with a clear MAF end, smooth bellows, and of course the clear Lid, I think it would look pretty cool.

Ah, let the late night Ideas roll!

That would be badass. I saw the clear valve covers on a boat at a show once, had like 3 blown 572s in it.

Clear intake would definatly be cool.

Put some NEONS under that bad boy!

Maybe if we can raise enough stink about it someone will take it into consideration.

I wouldn't want one, then I can see all the crap that collects in there.

Out of sight out of mind!

Neat idea, if it were a part not too prone to getting filthy that'd be pretty cool.

How well have the clear dif covers held up? I know the whole purpose of that is to see if theres any trash or water mixed in with the fluid. Thats probably the same idea with the clear valve covers on the boat.

Too much oil and gunk gets in their. Look at how many people put in LS6 valley covers and catch cans becuase of oil in the intake.

Would look cool for the first 20 miles.
