Default How Loud Is LM with ORY and LT's

How Loud Is LM with ORY and LT's? I have heard it on ls1sounds and all but how loud is it really in person like at idel and start. What would you compare it to?

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. THE WORSE EXHAUST I'VE EVER HEARD... HANDS DOWN. I'D RATHER DRIVE A 4-cylinder TOYOTA PICKUP WITH A CRACKED MANIFOLD AND NO EXHAUST THAN AN LS1 WITH THAT SET UP... and I'm dead serious. It's that bad.

Yes, it's loud. That's not the issue. It's the disgusting noise it makes.

It's insanely loud. Which, I'd be alright with. But, as previously stated, it sounds like ****. I wish I had known this before I bought headers and ORY for my car, which already had the LM. I just bought a Moroso Spiral Flow to replace the LM bullet. Hopefully it's still somewhat loud, but more importantly I hope it sounds much better.

ok...everyone is just ******* the **** out of ory w/lm1 but i heard it and yes its not the best sounding i have heard, but its not really all that loud. inside the car it is more than bearable and is actually less noisy than dumped true duals. outside the car is sounds freakin mean but has an odd kind of resonance that you must hear in person. TRY BEFORE YOU BUY!

its fairly loud, with lots of rasp. I know cause I use to run that setup. I swapped out the LM with a Classic chambered muffler and love the non-rasp the car has now. lol

I have had that setup for a year now. I can't say that I am very fond of it. I am taking it to an exhaust shop on Friday after I pick it up from the shop that did the cam. I am getting a custom true dual exhaust setup with single chamber flows. I hope it sounds a lot better.

It's loud and definitely not good. I heard a guy with the setup on the street. It sounded OK at idle, but it was terrible as soon as he gave it any gas. He said he hated it and was planning to change it. NOT recommended without cats.

I'll eventually switch catbacks because the drone sucks at cruising speed, atleast in an auto. Kind of sounds like a truck with straight pipes at times.

Let's make sure we're making the distinction between LM1 and LM2.

I recently installed jet-hots w/ory and the loudmouth was obnoxious.
The spiral flow definitely helped. It tones the exhaust down at idle and cruise. WOT is still loud but a good loud.

I'll vouch for obnoxiously loud too! I switched the resonator for a classic chambered as well, and while it is better, I will be looking into duals also.

I had that setup for a while but it got old. Pissed off the neighbors everyday when I went to work. I think it sounded good.....just really loud! Decided to go stock catback with cutout and like it a lot better.

I have that exact set up and I cant stand the way my car sounds....I hate rasp and I have a crap load of it. Id like to do some true duals but they hang lower and my car is to low to have it on. Im looking to do something soon.
