They're two different styles of sound, and in two way different price leagues.
Rumbler = cheaper and more raw/muscle car sounding
Borla = hella more expensive, more refined sound unless you open it up

I like the Borla because it's adjustable. I love the tips. They don't stand out form all angles like Corsa or B&B (they look nice too IMHO). Magnaflow or a LM would definately offer better value however I bought a Borla (twice) for my cars because of the adjustability and fitment. The sound with no plate (or an open cut-out) with LTs is a little raspy but very livable and with the cut-out closed sounds pretty sedate. Almost no rasp, nearly no drone (less than with manifolds!) and good power. I think I read an article where an nitrous F-Body lost only 8 HP at the wheels with the cutout closed. I have no complaints.

see the whole reason between the two catbacks is because next month GM is having a shootout in Englishtown and the requirments says thhat you must have a full mufflered exhaust system no bullets and the muffler has to have 2 or 3 baffles. I have a TSP Rumbler cb on my car now and I want to race in the event and I'm not looking into a Magnaflow because a friend of mine just pick one up for his TA and I don't want to look like a dickeater and get the same catback. So the only other one I can decide on is borla but I forgot all about Hooker,How about a Hooker CB would that be a good choice?

I was going to buy an adjustable borla from a guy on here. Long *** story short, I got lost on my way to pick it up. A couple of weeks later I did headers and Rumbler, kinda glad I never made it to that guys house now. Everything seems to happen for a reason, and now I have the best sounding LS1 I know.

what gives the TSP rumbler the sound? Doesn't it have the Dynomax bulletstyle muffler on it? Is it the tips that give it that sound? I'm asking because I want that sound without sacrificing my CME. Sorry for the hijack. I vote TSP.
