Default All you guys with DMH cutouts!!!

Well im going to order my 3" DMH electric cutout wich is going to go on the I pipe! but i was wondering a couple of things!

1. is the cable long enough? I want to put the switch somewhere by the radio!

2. where did you get power for it?

3. where/what section of the I pipe is the best part to install the cutout? will having it closer net me more gains?

Thanks alot fellas!!!

put it right behind the passenger rear seat. you'll see what i am talking about. the cable should be definetly long enough. as for power just tap into any powersource. cig lighter should be a good one

1. Yeah i put my switch in place of the hatch button.
2.I just spliced into the wire for my cigarette lighter.
3.Most people put it right under the passenger seat , i put mine a little further back.
you can barley see it in this pic

Under the pass seat, should have more than enougn wire, and I hooked mine up through the cig lighter which was simple because my switch is right next to it by my traction control button. Hope this helps.

Should just need on man, in the I-pipe right under the pass seat. Or with LTs you could throw one on each side of the Y pipe.

so when I do headers I would then need two cutouts one for each side of the y pipe.

you just need one in the i-pipe. It is kind of a waste of money to put dual cutouts on, but does make it a tad louder.

And you might want to make sure y-pipe doesnt hang down further than the rest of the exhuast. Im gonna have mine rewelded cause its tilted down, and scrapes over speed bumbs.
