Default Mount Problem

I installed a energy suspension tranny mount this weekend and the car is shaking to ****....im thinking i have bad u joints or possibly out of balance drive shaft, any suggestions would be appreciated, also i am not sure if i should have installed the plate that comes with the mount, it says in the instructions that you must use it, but im sure ive read somewhere on here that you are not suppose to use it....any help is appreciated.

Thanks

its shaking to **** because you have stock rubber motor mounts that want to twist with engine torque, and a solid mounted tranny that wont let it... which is causing vibrations to the rest of the car...

you can crack your bellhousing with this combo.. so here are your options

#1.. take out the tranny mount and put your stock one back in

#2.. buy and install Energy Suspension poly motor mounts to stop the engine from trying to torque over..

Doh! in another section a couple peoples said it was ok to use stock motor mounts with poly tranny mount. Now I'm scared again.

I mean you can do it for a bit but it's not the preferred final setup you want to run with. I had the same vibration issues when I ran the stock/poly setup and once I switched to the poly/poly setup, wow what a difference. The car actually handles better to because the engine doesn't move at all. Plus, there is absolutley no shifter play which was killing me with my old junky mounts.
