Default Exhaust gaskets

I am doing a pacesetter install today and was wondering what everyone uses for exhaust gaskets. I have read anywhwere from re use the stockers to silicone only. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Silicone?

I've never seen/read that and I've read a few threads. Re-use your stockers, just clean 'em up a bit. If you're worried you can get new OEM gaskets and use those.

Go to GM and get the stock replacements. The felpro paper filters are horrible and you will have a exhaust leak.

I just used a new set of OEM gaskets, and they work well. I'll probably try the Percy's in the future just to see what they're all about.

Just make sure you use a metal gasket and you will be fine.

If your Pacesetters came with the nice copper gaskets you can use those. I had already bought a new set of stock gaskets from the dealer since I was expecting the crappy paper ones that I heard came with the Pacesetters. I was surprised to see the copper ones when I opened the box but I used the tried and true stockers.
