Use the plate. Follow the instructions. Others were wrong for not using it.

Do not use the plate.......it will give you a very bad vibration because it changes the angle on the transmission to much

think one is talking motor mount and one is talking tranny mount, I used the plate and have no issues, about 2500 miles since on the garage queen.

Don't know about a plate for the motor mount. You sure you aren't confusing the instructions with the tranny mount?

Your wrong. Call energy suspension and ask them about the (pre-load plate) I think they call it. I'm running poly everywhere and have no vibration at all. Do an extensive search and you find the same answer. This was an urban legend on here last summer or the summer before.

I am talking tranny mount. USE THE PLATE. IT HAS A PURPOSE. NOT USING IT is urban myth

I just installed my ES Trans. Mount with the preload plate and have no vibration issues with the transmission or drivetrain.
