Default any one else have this problem

any one have this problem with the slp lid where the one clip keeps popping off when you drive? and if so were you able to fix it and how

Double check proper fit of the filter and housing box. Mine did that every so often, until I adjusted the placement of those ( after about 10 times)

take the lid off, and grind some of the botton off the lid, this will make it fit better

I had the same problem and it was because I didn't have the lid pushed back toward the engine far enough.

my sister's WS6 does that, but mine doesn't, but is bowed with the sides bending up and still makes a complete seal lol... i just think it's b/c the lid is such thin plastic and can't hold shape against under hood temps... the lids should have been made a little more thicker... i guess that's why there are cheaper...

MIne did that, but somehow I messed around with it and now its clamped down tight. I think the lid is pushed back maybe 1/32 of an inch, and sits flush against the lower airbox in the front. If that's too confusing I can get a pic.

tuck the front of the lid in behind the lower airbox.

+1 Yup the front of my lid kinda tucks into the bottom of the airbox, never had a tab fly off and the seal is tight!
