bleeding coolant system

Default bleeding coolant system

anyone know how to bleed the cooling system after it has been open.

pull the TB hose off the front crossover tube and pour the anitfreeze/water in...it also helps to have the front of the car jacked up a little

I usually just fill the rad and start the car with the cap off. You'll watch the air spurt back in from the tb hose. As the level drops I'll add some more. After it stabilizes go for a short drive....check and top off in the morning and you're golden.

Thanks for the replys, I think i will try theblurrs idea. how do u pour the coolant in the cross over tube the thing is so damn small.

no, you still use the radiator cap off and fill it that way. You can also rev the engine with the rad cap off, bubbles will come out, so keep the coolant level from dropping by constantly pouring more in.
