Question Throttle body question

What is the stock t/b good to? When should you upgrade? Also what's a ported ls1 t/b good to?

The stock 75mm is pretty much good to about 500rwhp but gets pretty limited at that point and beyond(when you get to 420rwhp and up a properly ported stocker is good for 10+@ the wheels). I suggest going with a 90/90 setup when you get to 460+, I suggest a ported TB anywere from stock to 450rwhp.

Ok. most people with my setup average 420+rwhp so Im thinking my stocker is holding me back. My friend gave me a ported t/b so if I can get 10rwhp off it Ill be happy. My setup only made 375.

at 375 a ported tb shouldnt be holding you back at all
