Default Typhoon Manifold

Has anyone used the new Typhoon Manifold advertised on WS6? It seems like a good price. I think it is an aluminum piece. I worry about the heat.

hey Craz is it just going to be the intake/TB and no other mods? being an ls6 intake should bring you what, 15 more over the ls6 intake you suppose?

Craz1469 Thanks for the reply, i will look for your results. How does the intake look as far as quality fit/finish? What type of gaskets are you using with it and any other parts needed?

I know you asked about a WS6, but for a LS1 equuiped GTO I posted up my dyno results here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=704910

As you can see I lost some rwhp with the 85mm Thypoon.

Details are in the thread.

It will be the intake and tb only. I was going to buy an UD pulley but I wanted to know the true results.
I'm hoping for 15hp from the intake....22 or 23 from the combo. its pretty nice looks badass black.
it comes with a bunch of **** like fuel lines, AN fittings and fuel rails..it is heavy about 30 lbs. I was going to use the gaskets that came with it. I also sent the TB off for port and polish. it may be over kill but I don't see how it could hurt.

Uh, you may want to take a look above at the links above. 15-23hp is not my experience, unless you mean -15 to -23 hp

I have heard of problems with fuel leaks and problems sealing to the heads. Don't know if this has been corrected by the company (ie. better gaskets) or was caused by improper installation. I would stay away from it.

Get an LS6 on eBay for $300 like I did.
