There are several people on here that have that intake. I think some had problems with the early versions. From what I have read, the problems have supposedly been fixed. I think it was problems with the fit but I can't remember for sure.

Yes, its a Professional Products Typhoon manifold. See my dyno readings from here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...hlight=typhoon

I lost hp using it. FWIW.

I have it, but I don't have any dyno numbers on it. It's definately an improvement over the ls1 intake.

Does any-one have the new LS2 style one yet? Its accepts a 96mm TB, and can be ported for a bigger one. One of the biggest things is the fact that it can accept LS1 style injectors so you don't need to splice into your harness for LS2 style injectors. Also, its a two piece design. Some interesting stuff...

Huh? How can you say it is an improvement? Especially when you have no dyno numbers and admit so?

why's it so cheap in the auction? Everywhere else especially for the polished intake, unless being sold by an individual, it costs a hundred or so more than that?

I am still at HUH here.

I have shown a before and after dyno where the Typhoon has robbed HP.

But, to each his own.

The only people that I've read about losing hp were the ones that put it on out of the box.

Seems that its needs to the ported and cleaned up because of some metal burs and stuff that mess up the air flow inside it.

But yeah I'd still rather have a fast.

Hmmm, I would be glad to see a dyno or read about someone who DIDNOT lose hp, how about sharing the link?

You imply that "people" who clean up the intake dont lose power or hp. I would like to see a post by someone who gained, not lost. Dyno sheet will work. Do you have a link handy?

There was a big intake manifold thread like 30+ pages.

A couple people posted in there around it being ok after being cleaned up but out of the box it was shitty.

Seeing as how I'm not rich I haven't done any first hand dyno testing.

Plus you had the ls6 on there and switched to it. Once again, I had the LS1.
