Pacesetter coated Y or Hooker stainless Y?

Pacesetter coated Y or Hooker stainless Y?
I'm getting one of these for my QTP's and just wondering if anyone thinks I should go coated Pacesetter. I'm thinking having a complete stainless exhaust system is the way to go. I don't know which one, if either, is better performance wise than the other. My cost is about $80 more for the Hooker. Thanks for any useful input.

You'll undoubtedly have some fitment issues, and either of them may need some cutting. I'd rather cut the stainless than cut a coated piece (though I didn't know Pacesetter sold a coated version).

The local long time custom exhaust shop I used before told me he couldn't touch making a stainless Y for $340 or so. When I had Jethot lts, I believe I bought a used Hooker Y and he welded in an extension piece or two. It worked great, I fixed the banging on the driver side under WOT with a driver side poly engine mount bushing.

i would do this:
1.) buy two magnaflow bullet cats from EAD performance. they're something like $90 each.
2.) buy a few feet of stainless exhaust tubing from stainless works.
3.) buy a stainless merge from stainless works
take the materials to joe shmo's exhaust shop down the street and have someone fab it up for you. you'll likeley be spending around $275 in parts, plus maybe 2 hours of labor. total cost: around $400, give or take. that's oodles less than you're paying for, say, a kooks stainless y-pipe and you'll have a superior merge, better fit and the best cats on the market.

Finding someone who can bend the pipe properly is my issue. I can't stand hearing all the excuses and the "hey bud, we had to...." stuff. I would really like to find something I can use stainless clamps on and install it myself, if possible. ^, would be the best idea, I just think it's too much of a pita for me. I try not to involve my other half and I work as a service advisor from 7:15 to 6 m-f, so my time is very limited. Labor around here is $90-100 @hour.

Ok this might be a dumb question, but I just bought Corsa tips and I wanted to get it welded to my GMMG C/B. I was wondering if I were to install the LT's and Y pipe if it would change the position of where my tips were originally? I remember reading on here about month ago where some guy said that. He said his tips moved a lil far out when he installed the LT's and Y pipe...
