They fit great, they perform like every other LT header, and if they are coated they can hold up a decent while (though not as long as stainless, but also 1/3 the price). I have them and love them.

Buy them and dont look back. If there was ever a purchase for these cars that you couldnt go wrong with if you just impulsively clicked "buy now" then this would be it. The install is incredibly easy, the gains are very impressive, the quality is out of this world, the clearance and fit is the best that I have seen. You get twice what you pay for. The only thing that I would advise is to go ahead and get the PaceSetter Y pipe with it, and not the TSP Y pipe. Sure the TSP is known for its flow, its also known for its leaking, scraping, and generally being harder to install than the headers themselves. Look up my post that I made today on my PaceSetter Y pipe review. You should also invest in some Poly engine mounts now too. Its an extra $50 that will keep you from having a bumping Y pipe... just trust me on this and get a pair. I would get everything from LS1Speed. Pacesetter LTs, Pacesetter ORY, poly engine mounts. Done!

you will not regret installing headers and a ypipe, its a noticable gain power wise, and will sound bad ***. i run pacesetter LT's and ORY on my car and i LOVE it. if you want a set or have any more questions give us a ring 585-865-1832 or take a look at the link in my sig.

The ones for 289 are probably the painted ones. For another 100, you get the coated ones. I have the coated race versions and could not be happier. My car has a pro kit on it, and sits pretty low, but the collectors haven't ever scraped. They look great too and I was very surprised with the power they gave my car.
